THE POSITION:

The Managing Director will be responsible for expanding the firm’s business in the Middle East and Africa. S/he will work with senior management to prepare business proposals and to source and support investigative case work. Critical parts of the role are business development and execution, generating significant new business, and managing client relationships at the highest levels.


WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS:

  • Develop and execute a business development plan while working closely with Nardello & Co. senior management and staff.
  • Actively grow the firm’s client base by generating significant new business and managing client relationships.
  • Direct overall case management process from proposal to report production, including client relationships, staffing, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Assure the firm’s continued growth and expansion by helping to shape the firm’s overall strategy.


YOUR BACKGROUND

You must have:

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant investigative experience, including in senior management-level roles. The ideal candidate will have either:
    • Legal experience, including significant experience counseling large multinational clients on investigations and expertise in business development
    • Government prosecution experience, including experience investigating and prosecuting companies with respect to compliance matters or experience representing individuals in criminal matters
    • A background in conducting investigative research and analysis, compliance investigations, and business development expertise.
  • An extensive, on-the-ground network in the Middle East.
  • A proven track record of developing a book of business.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and international laws, regulations, and relevant best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of sensitivity for confidentiality. Must be task-oriented with an excellent sense of priority, logic, and objectivity, as well as highly organized and capable of handling a number of sensitive and important issues simultaneously.
  • Superior leadership skills to enable you to can take charge, build consensus, motivate others, and effect change.
  • Ability to motivate a diverse workforce and assure bottom line accountability for quality provision of services and the successful financial performance of the firm.
  • A track record of demonstrating credibility, trust, enthusiasm, integrity, and ethics.
  • Fluency in another language in addition to English.
  • Law degree and/or advanced academic study preferred.

                                                                                                                                 

 ENVIRONMENT DETAILS          

  • This position is currently located in London; the future base of operations may be moved to Dubai.
  • Some travel required.
